# 5. Reinicialização de senha

Para conectar um usuário, é necessário que o mesmo já esteja criado no sistema. Caso o usuário não tenha sido criado, siga os passos do tópico "[Incluir usuário no ADSEG](/adseg/conexao-ao-sigcon-mg/3.-criacao-e-inclusao-de-usuario-no-adseg.md)" para reinicializar a senha.

1. Acesse o ADSEG:
   * Faça login no sistema conforme as instruções anteriores.
   * Se já estiver no ADSEG, pressione a tecla `F3` para retornar à tela principal.
2. Selecione a opção de manutenção de senha:
   * No MENU USUARIO - no campo "Opção", digite `06` (MANUTENÇÃO Senha/Revogação/Liberação/Reativação) informe o usuário (pode ser um usuário com MASP ou "X", o procedimento é o mesmo, pressione `[Enter]`.

3. **Inicialize a senha universal**:
   * Pressione `F2` para inicializar a senha universal. A senha universal de abertura do sistema é: `SNHRCF`.

4. **Retorne ao menu principal**:
   * Pressione `F3` duas vezes para voltar à tela de menus.
